Dare You To Move

Music Video Made by : Joel H. Keka Jr., David Edger and James Hayze

This was a week to week project. It was done in 2007 and we were trying to capture Las Vegas in this music video. Well, that’s what David wanted to do. All I wanted was to gain experience in my own field and I strive to keep myself at work with digital film and video production even if we had to use a home video camera. I would say that the hardest part of this production was getting a cast and crew together. We already had ourselves, but we would have to meet up every week and transportation was thin. The actress was a friend of ours and was very reliable at the time.

We traveled to the strip every weekend and walk that strip about 8 times. I’d say that most off our money went into the gas for James’s car. We filmed according to our storyboard, but sense it wasn’t a major video, we did some filming away from the storyboard, which resulted in more raw footage to work with. A hard part that accorded was finding places to film and we realized how important planning out shots in the field was. For being one of our more important shots, we gained a lot of knowledge when shooting.

When we finally stocked up on all the raw footage that we needed, we were ready for the editing process. This was one of my jobs. When editing, I found many parts of this video to be very fun to create, but other parts were very hard to create because the like of footage that was needed. On a normal production we would have to go back out to shoot what we needed, but we were unable to because we could only hold on to the camera for so long. I did my best to connect everything together in the video and I do like the outcome of the music video, but I do admit that I could improve on it.

Model Of Consumer Behaior

“Consumers make many buying decisions every day. Most large companies research consumers buying decisions in great detail to answer questions about what consumers buy, where they buy, how and how much they buy, when they buy, and why they buy.”(Armstrong and Kotler: Page 131) This information can easily be obtained over the internet through surveys or however else you seem to do your research. Even though large companies do this, you should remember that “There is no knowledge that is not power.” (Mortal Kombat) So, if it helps out in anyway then you should gather what you need.

Using The Internet

“The growth of the Internet has had a dramatic impact on the conduct of marketing research. Increasingly, researchers are collecting primary data through online marketing research.”(Armstrong and Kotler: Page 109) Using the internet, I was able to get my book out there. There’s no better or faster way to put your stuff out there for everyone to see, then the internet. The internet can shape your company in more was then just one. You can use the internet to research any info that you may need. Before I made the book, I took a look-see to find out if there was anyone else that might have the idea that I had in mind. I also used it to see how people might react to what I had in mind.

“The Internet is especially well suited for quantitative research-conducting marketing surveys and collecting data.” (Armstrong and Kotler: Page 109)

General Public

“A company needs to be concerned about the general public’s attitude toward its products and activities. The public’s image of the company affects its buying.” (Armstrong and Kotler: Page 68)

“A company can prepare marketing plans for these major publics as well as for its customers markets.” (Armstrong and Kotler: Page 68) When I came up with the idea for this book I was too into my own world and I thought of what ‘I’ would want and what ‘I’ would like instead of thinking what others wanted. It’s good to think about yourself when it’s just yourself. But when the general public is involved, it may be best that you start thinking differently about you product and create a good public image.

Customer Value

I hope that people get fun and excitement from these recipes and I hope that they’ll share them with others. The thing about these recipes is that they’re not out-of-the-ordinary, but they’re also not ordinary. When I started out with making a cookbook I wanted people to see something in it. “Customer value is the key ingredient in the marker’s formula for success.”( Armstrong and Kotler: Page 45)

“Marketing strategy is the marketing logic by which the company hopes to create this customer value and achieve these profitable relationships.”( Armstrong and Kotler: Page 47)

It's What I Want

It's understanding that needs out-weigh wants, but it’s ok to reward yourself. Taking time for yourself is what makes you who you are. So do yourself a favorer and cook. “Wants are the form human needs take as they are shaped by culture and individual personality.” (Armstrong and Kotler: Page 6)

With this cookbook, I wanted to show a different way to cook and see things. I think that everyone wants to see a different side of things and I know that this cookbook you will find that. “Customer relationship management is perhaps the most important concept of modern marketing.”(Armstrong and Kotler: Page 13)
